Badminton

Established more than ten years ago, the Badminton Club aims to develop students’ passion for badminton while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, resilience, and positive well-being. From a small club of about 10 members, the club has grown steadily to more than 50 members today.

In line with the school’s emphasis on Positive Education, the club seeks to nurture positive purpose and engagement among students through meaningful training experiences and team interactions. Members develop technical badminton skills, physical fitness, discipline, and confidence while learning the values of perseverance, teamwork, and positive sportsmanship.

Mission

• Equip students with badminton skills and techniques while developing a positive spirit of sportsmanship

• Promote awareness of the importance of physical activity and healthy living in students’ daily lives

Members have opportunities to:

• Participate in physical conditioning, agility, and badminton training sessions

• Learn badminton techniques such as basic strokes, drop shots, smashes, and net play

• Develop match strategies and gameplay skills through regular practices

• Represent the school in competitions such as the National School Games (NSG) Badminton Championships

• Build teamwork and resilience through training and competitive experiences
