Choir

The BVSS Choir is a joyful and close-knit community where members come together through their shared passion for singing and music. Through performances, rehearsals, and collaborative learning experiences, students develop confidence, musical expression, teamwork, and lasting friendships. Members are encouraged to challenge themselves creatively while building discipline, resilience, and appreciation for choral music.

The Choir aims to:

• Develop vocal techniques and musical expression through choral singing

• Build confidence, discipline, and teamwork through performances and rehearsals

• Encourage friendships and collaboration through shared musical experiences

• Provide opportunities for creative expression and stage performance

• Develop resilience and commitment through regular training and performances

Members have opportunities to:

• Perform at school events such as Open House and the 40th Anniversary Performing Arts Concert

• Participate in choir exchanges, concerts, and collaborative performances

• Attend workshops, camps, and learning festivals to strengthen vocal and performance skills

• Participate in performances such as SINGSPIRATION! 2024 at Victoria Concert Hall

• Represent the school in Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Arts Presentations and overseas immersion trips
