Girls' Brigade
In Girls’ Brigade, our mission is to develop each girl and officer to her fullest potential by equipping, empowering, and enabling Every Girl a Leader, Every Officer a Servant Leader.
The BVSS Girls’ Brigade provides opportunities for girls to grow in leadership, character, resilience, and teamwork through a holistic programme that focuses on physical, educational, values, and social development. Through weekly drills, outdoor activities, skills-based learning, and community service, members develop grit, responsibility, compassion, and confidence while learning to contribute meaningfully to the community.
The Girls’ Brigade aims to:

Participate in outdoor and physical activities such as kayaking, games, and outdoor cooking

Develop practical skills through activities such as baking, coding, craft, and calligraphy
-
Learn teamwork, perseverance, and responsibility through weekly drills and group activities
-
Serve the community through meaningful outreach and service-learning projects
-
Build confidence, leadership, and character through shared learning experiences

Members have opportunities to:

Participate in leadership programmes such as the Sec 3 Leadership Conference and HQ Non-Commissioned Officer Training Camp

Take part in national events and competitions including the GB National Drill Competition and Dr Low Guat Tin Challenge

Attend camps, outdoor activities, and learning journeys such as the March Camp with SGSecure Learning Journey and Kinball
-
Serve the community through initiatives such as GB Friend-In-Deed and Community Service @ Marsiling RC
-
Participate in inter-school bonding and learning experiences including the Year-End Combined GBBB Camp and overseas trips
