Sec 1 Student Appeal for Transfer
For students requesting to transfer out of BVSS (due to serious medical conditions)
Parents or guardians of students who posted to BVSS but are seeking a transfer out due to serious medical conditions (e.g. chronic heart conditions) or severe physical impairments (e.g. require permanent use of a wheelchair), are advised to approach the school in person on Thursday, 19 December 2024, between 8:30 AM and 12:00 PM at the BVSS General Office.
Required Documents

Medical report or letter from a certified doctor.

Medical report clearly describing:

The extent of the impairment (temporary/permanent).

The assistive device currently in use (e.g., wheelchair).

For students requesting to transfer into BVSS
Our transfer appeal period is open until Monday, 23 December 2024, 12:00 PM.

2025 BVSS Sec 1 Appeal
– there is no need to visit the school in person.
The school will contact parents whose appeals are successful by mid-January 2025. All applications are reviewed carefully, taking a holistic approach that considers academic results, passion/ interests, and reasons for the transfer.
Please Note:

Appeals are unlikely to be successful if the student has not met the cut-off point for the respective course in this year’s Secondary One Posting to Bukit View Secondary School.

Applications are subject to available vacancies, and admission is not guaranteed.

Students must still complete the registration exercise and report to their posted secondary school on 2 January 2025 until the transfer is finalised.
