Returning Singaporeans

Returning Singaporeans are children who are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents returning to Singapore, having lived and studied overseas.

Returning Singaporeans seeking admission to mainstream secondary schools may:

• Approach MOE for assured school placement;
• Take part in the School Placement Exercise for Returning Singaporeans – Secondary (SPERS-Sec) for admission in the following academic year;
• Take part in the Supplementary Placement Exercise (SPE) for admission in the same academic year; OR
• Approach schools directly.
