Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)

MOE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME (FAS) 2025

Singaporean students may apply for financial assistance from the Ministry of Education. MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) is granted till December each year.

Please take note the following:

For Current MOE FAS Recipients (2024)

If your child is currently receiving FAS and would like to continue in 2025:

Submit an updated application form with supporting documents by the deadline.
This ensures eligibility based on updated household income or family circumstances.

For ComCare Beneficiaries recipient

If your child is covered under MSF ComCare Assistance :

For 2025 are automatically eligible for FAS.
No separate application is required.
Parents will receive instructions from the school on how to collect the FAS Approval Letter and Collection Slips for books and uniforms.

For Successful MOE FAS recipients (Approval Granted by Other Schools)

If your child/ward’s FAS application was approved by another school (e.g., sibling’s school or primary school for Secondary 1 students):

Bring the FAS Approval Letter from the approving school to our General Office.
The school will issue:
- A FAS Approval Letter from our school
- Collection Slips for books and uniforms.

[2025] MOE FAS Application has already been approved by your child’s Primary School

If your child’s/ward’s MOE FAS application was approved by their primary school or sibling's school, please obtain the BVSS Approval Letter before collecting textbooks and uniforms.

To Obtain the BVSS Approval Letter:

Bring the FAS Approval Letter from the approving school to our General Office.
BVSS will provide:
- A BVSS Approval Letter.
- Collection slips for textbooks and uniforms.

For new applicants
If you wish to apply for MOE Financial Assistance Scheme, you can submit your application .

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
(Ref: MOE FAS pamphlet-2025)
Family’s gross household income (GHI): not exceeding $3000/- per month or Family’s per capita income (PCI): not exceeding $750/- per month [PCI = Total Gross Monthly Household Income divided by the No. of members in the same household.]

Application for MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) for the year 2025 is now open.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Application is open throughout the year. Siblings in the same school can submit all their applications using one form.

Parents/Guardians may apply for MOE FAS through the following modes:

Please read the instructions in the eFAS and prepare the softcopy of the required documents before you begin your e-application.
You will receive an acknowledgement email upon successful submission of eFAS application.

You may obtain the application form from the school’s General Office.	Click here to Download & Print the MOE FAS Application Form.
Upon completion, the application form is to be submitted directly to school, together with copies of the supporting documents as indicated in the form.

For Sec 2 - 4 (2025) :	Monday, 11 Nov 2024.
For Sec 1 (2025) :	Monday, 23 Dec 2024.

Important Note:

If your documents are in order, we will be able to process your application between 7 to 10 working days and we will notify you of the status accordingly.
If not, we will process your application when the documents are completed.
Late or incomplete applications may delay processing.

Our School admin staff may reach out to you for clarification on your submission or the request for additional documents.

OUTCOME NOTIFICATION
Parents/guardians will receive a call from the school regarding the outcome of the FAS application.
Approved parents will receive instructions for collecting: FAS Approval Letter Collection Slips for Books and Uniforms

For Approved Applicants:
[Approved by BVSS ] Parents will receive The FAS Approval Letter issued by the school. Collection Slips for books and uniforms. [Approve by other Schools] Instructions for Collection: Visit the General Office during the scheduled collection period. Bring the FAS Approval Letter and Collection Slips for verification.
Note: FAS applicants are advised not to buy the books and uniforms until they are informed of the application outcome. Parents will not be refunded for purchases made before the application is approved.
